Don’t have the time or the compression software package to handle a feature length film? We offer a lower cost compression service that will compress your feature length film (60 to 120 minutes and a 90-second trailer) for $99.
We accept DVDs (US region, non protected), disk files and standard DVcam tapes (recorded in normal play mode).
*DVDs, disks and tapes will not be returned and will be destroyed after compressing.
*Drives will be returned at the filmmaker’s expense.
*If you shot in HD and wish to use our compression services, you will need to transfer to standard DVcam tape (recorded in normal play mode) or provide us with a firewire drive containing just your film and trailer. IndieOrbit.com is not responsible for lost or stolen tapes, disks, or drives (so don’t send any masters!)

FILM COMPRESSION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Your film must be a minimum of 60 minutes and a maximum of 120 in length
2) Be sure the file is a Windows Media 9 file or higher
3) Be sure the file is no larger than 450MB
4) Be sure the bitrate is no greater than 700kbps
5) Be sure the dimensions are exactly 640x480
6) Burn the film file onto a separate disk from your trailer
7) Send the film disk along with the trailer disk to:

TRAILER COMPRESSION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Your trailer must be no longer than 90 seconds in length
*(Regardless or your film's content, trailers must be acceptable to be viewed by a general audience)
2) Be sure the file is a Windows Media 9 file or higher
3) Be sure the file is no larger than 10MB
4) Be sure the bitrate is no greater than 500kbps
5) Be sure the dimensions are exactly 320x240
6) Burn the trailer file onto a separate disk from your film
7) Send the trailer disk along with the film disk to:
